Come, sit.

You who are weary

from carrying… what has no name.

Bring your tired grief,

the quiet one…

that follows you home at night.

Let it sit beside you.

You do not have to fix it,

you do not have to understand it,

you only have to stay.

Let the breath deepen.

Let the held tears gather.

Let the weight you carry

touch the ground for a while…

Stay. Long enough

to feel what lives beneath the ache.

Stay long enough to hear the soft truth:

Grief is love with nowhere to go.

May we be gentle… with the parts of us

tired from being strong.

May we sit together, not turning away.
